Health & Safety and Employee Wellbeing are key priorities in our business. Health & Safety is at the heart of everything we do.

Our management, including our dedicated team of Health & Safety professionals, strive for continuous improvement in Health & Safety; encouraging, facilitating and leading communication of good practices; promoting awareness of Health & Safety issues and ensuring that high standards are achieved and maintained.

Our Board have long believed that the costs of accident and ill health prevention represent an investment with excellent returns. Our approach to Occupational Health & Safety is therefore systematic and our Safety Management System is completely integrated within a fully documented Business Management System. Our Safety Management System is certified to OHSAS 18001, the international occupational Health & Safety system specification embracing BS8800.

We believe that Health & Safety in the workplace is an issue for everyone, therefore beyond our robust systems and management approach we vigorously promote a programme of Behavioural Safety in the workplace. This is supported by an ongoing programme of awareness training and encouragement to promote a recognisable cultural response to potential hazards from everybody in the workplace.

The general level of Safety and Occupational Health awareness in our workplaces is continuously improved through the education of employees and subcontractors. We are fully committed to the development of employee awareness and competence and support the ideal of a fully qualified and registered workforce.
