Planner - Trafford Park - Competitive Remuneration Package

Reporting to the Senior Planner, you will provide and support the Territory Project Team with regular information and progress reports. This will include, but is not limited to, supporting the site team in all delivery requirements, Planning, Resource Management, producing Progress and KPI reports.

The key tasks of this role includes:

• Produce, monitor and maintain cash loaded and resource loaded Programmes utilizing P6 software
• Establish and maintain a logistics and planning visual source of information based on established existing planning procedures.
• Produce, monitor, maintain and report on all KPI trackers, internal and the Clients
• Updating trackers and established database (InfoTRAK)
• Contribute to the reporting cycle to the Client and Territory Contracts Manager
• Provide support to the Territory Teams on resource management.
• Provide planning and look-ahead management support to the Territory Team
• Integrate on a regular basis with the Client to review current and future workload
• Site visits to review production and KPI performance
• Support Operational/Commercial teams in cash-flows and look ahead turnover
• Provide up to date information to Project Team on the status of works utilizing Project Management software (P5 or similar)
• Produce, monitor and maintain Cash flow information as required
• Provide Planning Support for Tenders
• Provide NRSWA Management support to the Territory Team
• Provide Design Management support to the Territory Team
• Liaise with Commercial Team to produce and maintain Procurement Schedules
• Identify and implement efficiencies with the Territory Delivery Teams

You will be an effective team member who meets the following criteria:

• Ability in P5 preferred
• Experience working with Network Rail procedures and standards
• Understand Planning procedures
• Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office, particularly to be proficient in the use of Excel
• Good organisational skill
• Logical minded
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under own initiative
• Good communicator at all levels
• Ability to work within a team.
• Clean Driving Licence
